That history is visible in the architecture itself. The hotel was formed from three separate buildings, each once equipped with its own elevator. In the oldest section, built in 1932, a lift installed in 1945 still operates today and is now considered the oldest working elevator in Luxembourg.

Across six floors, 60 rooms balance tradition and contemporary design. Some preserve the signature 1960s atmosphere with marble details and warm olive-and-ochre tones, while the renovated Exclusive Floor caters to modern business travelers with a sleek, high-tech style.

Mornings begin in the “Normandy” breakfast room, inspired by the legendary ocean liner Normandie, a tribute imagined by the second generation of the Cravat family, bringing the elegance of sea travel onto land.

Evenings naturally lead to the historic bar. Created in 1953 and inspired by the Ritz in Paris, Bar Le Trianon has recently been reimagined by the new generation. Today it pairs classic dishes with more research-driven creations, serving dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 7:00 p.m. until midnight and drinks daily except Monday. In 2026, it was named the second-best bar in Luxembourg by Gault & Millau.
