Crupet Castle, Belgium
A medieval castle located in the south of Belgium. Originally, it was just a three-story stone tower with narrow windows designed for defense. Later, it was remodeled into a castle farm, and new elements were added: a corner staircase tower, an additional floor, a roof, and Renaissance-style windows.
Over the centuries, the castle belonged to several noble families, but over time it began to fall into ruin.
In 1925, it was acquired by the architect Adrien Blomme, who restored it, allowing it to be preserved to this day.
Today, the castle is privately owned and is not open to visitors.
