City Plaza stands as a lively center for shopping, culture, and community in Nieuwegein. With over 155 stores, it’s not only the largest shopping destination in the city but also one of the most prominent partially covered shopping centers in the Netherlands. City Plaza underwent a complete transformation, finalized in 2015. The redesign turned it into a modern, welcoming space that now rivals the country’s biggest shopping hubs, such as Rotterdam’s Zuidplein and Utrecht’s Hoog Catharijne.
