Beaufort Castle. Luxembourg

This majestic historical structure is situated on a high hill in Beaufort, in the east of Luxembourg. The castle was built in the 11th century and served as a strategic defensive fortress, symbolizing strength and power. Over time, it underwent numerous changes and reconstructions, reflecting various historical epochs in its architecture.

Beaufort Castle is open for visits during the warm season. In 2024, it will be open from April 1st to November 12th. The complex consists of the remains of a medieval fortress and the adjacent castle. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the city and the surrounding landscapes.
