
Adolphe Bridge, Luxembourg
The bridge rises over the landscape of the Petrusse River and serves as a key part of the city’s infrastructure, as well as an important feature of the urban landscape. It connects two parts of Luxembourg – the Upper and Lower Town.

Built in the early 20th century, the bridge was named after the great Duke Adolphe. At the time of its construction, it was the largest arched bridge in the world. The length of the bridge’s arch is 85 meters, the maximum height is 42 meters, and the total length of the bridge is 153 meters. From the bridge, there is a stunning view of the city and the river.

The best place to admire the Adolphe Bridge is from the Royal Boulevard – it offers the best view of the bridge and provides an opportunity to take beautiful photographs.
